If you had ever been to Some Where Else Tavern in Greensboro...this place is those vibes. So awesome! I suggest trying the pink Starburst as a mixed drink instead of a shot. It is so good and not too sweet!

What a cool place! Michael takes a lot of pride in what he has built and rightfully so. This place has such a cool vibe. We went on Wednesday open mic night. Had an absolute blast. This place literally has something special planned for every night of the week, so check the schedule regularly. For now Wednesdays have my vote, and I'll be there every chance I can.

Recently saw a show here, the stage and the sound is great. Pretty good drink selection, seating was good too. Definitely worth a look!

Took my son and his GF to an all ages Metal show. They absolutely loved it. Had a great time and saw 3 great bands

This was a great experience. The stage is huge for a venue this size. You could accommodate a large band easily. The lights and sound are great. They have good seating. The bar is stocked and they've got your favorites from Cavendish Brewery. Plus they a shot called an Applesauce Shot - don't knock it until it's knocked you. We went to see The Graveyard Boulevard and had a really good time. I'd like to see some of my favorite local Charlotte bands come over and play. Would be nice to drive less than 35 minutes for once!

I hear a lot of people giving this venue a bad review. I have been to this venue several times. Not one time have I ever had a bad experience here. Michael the owner pours his heart and soul into making this venue top notch. Great bands come out and support this small venue. Michael always has a smile on his face ready to shake hands and serve up some of the coldest adult beverages you can get. For a growing metro area that we are in, it's the perfect place to catch a show and drink a few. Not to mention the other days of the week when music is not offered. Trivia night was just added not to long ago. Singer/Songwriter night. Karaoke night. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You will NOT be disappointed. Actually we are going tonight to see the premier Creed tribute band.Michael if you read this, keep up the hard work bro. It's not going unnoticed in the community. Love this venue

Great venue. Went to brewstock to see A WAR TO WIN and REDEFIND; I enjoyed all the bands and the atmosphere was really fun. It’s a pretty venue with cool records on the walls and a super clean … uplifting bathroom where girls have written the sweetest stuff lol 😂 go for metal, go for girlhood or for the drinks and food.

Great live music venue. We enjoyed watching some local musicians here as a part of the Charlotte Blues Society monthly event. Just kicked off last night and it was fantastic! We saw Alex J. Wolf and The Pszenny Project. Glad we found out in time to see these musicians.

This place is so cool! It has all the vibes of an 80's indie rock club while somehow still feeling inclusive, and for some shows, even family friendly. Whether you are into rock and roll, heavy metal, punk, grunge or folk, there is an event here for you. I especially recommend the Wednesday night open mic. Talented artists from multiple counties flock to The Rooster to practice and expand their skills. And more often than not, local established artists pop in to take the stage just to jam with their musically inclined friends and offer mentorship to upcoming new artists. I have noticed that the crowd is most supportive of the newbies and cheer them on through nerves and occasional false starts. This venue is a true incubator for local music!
